Our Founder Ceyda Berk Söderblom, Sepideh Rahaa and Kemê Pellicer met in a Café Sabich in Kontula where they discussed what art activism means to them individually but also what it means to their common goals and how it shapes their creative processes. The event is part of a discussion series whose purpose is to highlight non-Finnish-speaking artists and cultural producers living in the Helsinki metropolitan area and to discuss current themes and debates around contemporary art and culture.
The series has been initiated by the Adult Education Center of Helsinki City / Helsingin työväenopisto.
